With fashion weeks coming to an end in New York, London, Milan and Paris, and with fall approaching, its time for a wardrobe update. Fall/Winter always brings a variety of different looks and clothing options. Its the only time of year you can get away with wearing flip flops AND a pullover hoodie. Now, we are still sticking to the essentials, thigh high boots, denim jackets and track suits. But here's a update from the runway to the streets! Here are your fall must haves!!

Prints! (again)

But not just any print, Hounds-tooth! Hounds-tooth is a duo tone textile pattern characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes, often in black and white. The high-contrast hounds-tooth motif is perfect for an androgynous look. Dominating silhouettes from head-to-toe will definitely be the head turner for this fall/winter.

 Orange/Earth Tones

Neon green has dominated the spring and summer, but now, we are moving in a different direction, (thank god). Orange is the color for fall, which seems a little cliche I know, but its so fitting. Its like orange with a kiss of gold and a hint of melanin. This color is rich. Its bold yet subtle and has been used by many designers this runway season. Paired with a chocolate cocoa bean color, it looks good enough to eat.

Dresses worn with jeans

Now, I know this sounds crazy but does it really? Coming from a culture who's worn clothes backwards and LED lights belts, I don't think this is far fetched. Its actually pretty retro and super cute. Straight-leg pants paired with a floral pattern for a casual look, or go streamline and wear a skirt and pants that are the same color. Either way you'll be the most chic in the room.

 Western style

Don't go totally wild wild west, OK. I'm not telling you to go out and buy chaps. Its all in the accessories!! Western style belts, hats and shoes are the new sheriffs in town. Even these $279 The Attico Ankle Straps wore by Beyonce is giving a western feel.
